    Seal Integrity Testing Apparatus RUBO
    For Checking the Function of Hearing Protectors and Filters
    The seal integrity testing apparatus is a tool to check filters and can be used for testing all kinds of otoplastics - for hearing protectors and hearing aids.
    The apparatus has three test tubes filled half with distilled water. If the ear aligned part is sealed, the liquid in the connected tube stays at the same level, but the level of the non connected tube rises.
    If the ear aligned part is not sealed, in both the tubes the levels rise.
    The same is valid if filters are tested.
    It is even possible to make this test on the otoplastic itself while the otoplastic is inserted in the ear - to test the fitting of the otoplastic (specially when high amplification).
